About FoxTrot
The Foxtrot was invented around 1914 by the American vaudeville actor Harry Fox, and popularized by the then famous dance couple
Vernon and Irene Castle, who lent the dance its signature grace and style.
Originally danced to ragtime music, today
the dance is usually danced to a 4/4 rhythm similar to Swing dancing.
