About Quickstep
The Quickstep originated in the 1920's as a much faster version of the FoxTrot. Today, though, the dances are quite different, Quickstep having a lot of rotation and characteristic "lock" or crossing steps.

Advanced Quickstep also has lots of runs, hops, and sycopated timings, make it exciting both to do and to watch.
