About Viennese Waltz
Viennese Waltz is the oldest of the ballroom dances, originating in the 18th century in Germany. It is the original waltz form. Viennese Waltz was first European dance to be executed in close hold, and was therefore considered scandalous when it reached England in the early 1800's.

International Viennese Waltz has very few figures, but a lovely swirling sweep down the dance floor.
